Weekly class newsletters are sent to parents via parent mail.
Homework
In year 4 the children will be set: Reading, Spelling, Numbots/Timetables Rock Stars, a timetables activity and a project to take part in at home. The project will be linked to the class theme and run for half a term.
Homework will be set each Friday by the class teacher and will be due back in on the following Wednesday (excluding the project and online learning)
All homework will be discussed and reviewed in class with the children.

Wow! Look at these beautiful watercolour poppy paintings created for Rememberance Day by Deer class.
In our Growth mindset sessions we have been learning about how our brains work. As well as collaboratively building and labelling a class brain out of plasticine, the children also made their own neural networks consisting of neurons connected together by synapses. This was to help us understand how learning happens in our brains and how practice helps us to learn and improve.
As part of our Happiness project we have been linking our emotions to colour and looking at the work of Picasso. What do you think of our creations?
