Growing to Learn, Learning to Grow
On Thursday 13th October, we had a ‘Stone Age Day’. The children had the opportunity to immerse themselves in a wide range of learning opportunities including making clay pots, fire lighting as people in the Stone Age would have done, building shelters and taking part in a Stone Age feast! We also had a representative from the Tunbridge Wells museum who came into school to deliver an archaeology session that explored the concept of the ‘Stone Age’ and its importance to the development of civilisation. Everyone dressed up and looked fantastic as Stone Age people!
