Reducing Separation Anxiety; Tips for Parents

Created and provided by The Anna Freud National Centre for Children and Families. Although this resources was created to help with returning to school after lockdown, it can be just as relevant and useful in any separation anxiety situations.

A range of free courses and workshops for parents, carers and families in Kent. The list is constantly updating, so it is well worth an occasional browse to see what’s on offer. 

Mindfulness has been clinically proven to aid and improve mental and physical wellbeing. Click on the links for advice on supporting children aged 5-7, 8-10, 11-12 and yourself to practice mindfulness.

Aimed at encouraging parents to spend quality time with their children and teenagers. They offer a range of tips on how to start a meaningful conversation and even ideas for activities you could do together. From downloadable conversation starters to a useful tips video, this site is full of useful resources.
