Year 6 had a discussion during their Spanish lesson about the European Day of Languages. We learnt about the 24 official languages, and that there are over 200 languages spoken in Europe. We learnt how to say 'Hello' in several different languages, including Polish, Romanian and Ukrainian.
They then looked at the diversity of their class and realised that they can speak a mixture of 10 different languages among them!
