Hedgehog Class have thoroughly enjoyed learning about the Roman Empire and their impact on Britain. This historical study followed nicely on from our work before Christmas on life in the Stone Age. The children found the differences between the Neolithic tribes and the Roman Empire, quite startling.
The project concluded with a feast for the whole class. The children created mosaic table mats and designed, made and helped cook their own pizzas. Which, as you can imagine, they absolutely loved.
