On Monday 15th May, six children from year 6 travelled over to the Stag Theatre in Sevenoaks to dance in front of a huge audience. They had been learning an Egyptian themed dance to ‘Walk Like an Egyptian’ since March and after one rehearsal on the stage, were ready to perform. Undeterred by the bright lights, massive audience or hundreds of other children, they delivered an excellent performance and thoroughly enjoyed themselves. A huge thanks must go to Lauren from TWKSSP for teaching the team the dance and guiding them through every step of the way. Thanks too to Miss Pooley for giving up her evening to support the children.
